This review is from: Apple iPod classic 160GB - Black - 6th Generation (Electronics)
I've just upgraded from a 3rd gen 30gb to this newer model. Yes, it's sleek, slim and looks very dandy but what's happened to the volume level??!! While I'm sure Apple have your long term hearing in mind the top volume on this model is at least 30% lower than earlier gens. While that's every public spirited I prefer to have choice and a higher volume level, particularly when it comes to gym use.

Yes I have just got the new classic 160 and it does have a volume limiter adjustment on it. Wind it up and it will be far too loud for most human beings to tolerate!!

Go to itunes itself and when you are loading the tracks and incresse the volume there
