Toundra III is the 3rd album by the Spanish post rock/metal band with maybe a little stoner. As usual with most post rock/metal artists the music on the album is instrumental. The band mix guitars, drums, bass and violins plus more to build 6 tracks of waving metal. The flow from heavy drums and guitar to the softer more relaxing sounds then back to the heavy. The tracks on the album change as they go so the music never gets boring unless you really need vocals to get your attention. Not all tracks one this album are heavy some songs are composed entirely of soft tracks that build a beautiful song. I believe that toundra are one of the top notch post rockers as of the moment and improve with each album. Toundra are one of those bands that are not the most well known of but should be up there with the liked of associated acts such as pelican, Russian circles, karma to burn or mogwai and is a band any post rock fan should have.
