4.0 out of 5 stars Just what it says on the tin, 18 Dec. 2011
This review is from: Conversation Lubricants - Easy Ways to Start and Keep a Great Conversation Flowing (Kindle Edition)
For the shy people out there I would definitely recommend this book.

It wont reveal some great mystical secret and you may read some bits and think I know this already - but then why aren't you using these tools already!? Self help books are all about stating the obvious and putting things in such a way that you can't help but follow the great advice contained within.

The style of this book makes it unique in that you can dip in and out of it when you need to. When you are confronted with a particularly stressful or new social situation this book can help you build up a bank of conversation starters that will help you feel more confident going into it.

This book wont be for everyone - if you already think you're a great conversationalist you shouldn't be looking at this in the first place, but for all those wall=flowers out there, give it a read!

i had just written a comment for the person who left one star before i read your review, not having read the book myself i was pretty amazed that we came to the same conclusion about this book being for the shy....bravo.
For those who may be put off by the one star review don't be because anyone who realising that coming out of a long term relationship or those who have found themselves "outside" of society for whatever reason[caring for the elderly or disabled for instance]would no doubt find something to benefit them here, and there is nothing wrong with that....
