Customer Review

on 31 August 2012
A magnificent story set during a piece of English history we never knew about.
OK, it's fiction, but full of interesting and colourful characters.
You can't avoid sharing Tom Builder's (Rufus Sewell)dreams and Prior Philip's (Matthew MacFadyen) tribulations.
Bishop Waleran, played by Ian McShane is suitably evil. Donald Sutherland as Earl Bartholomew is majestic.
Natalia Woener as Ellen is frighteningly attractive in a mature sort of way.
Truly brilliant casting for an epic saga.
