Customer Review

on 23 May 2013
I bought this book used because it was WAY too expensive to buy new. I have learnt C++ console programming so decided to move onto OpenGL graphics programming. As mentioned above it was sold used by Amazon UK as 'very good'. It is 'very good'. Just some tiny markings on the front cover but it is perfect inside. Arrived punctually before the estimated delivery date and is CRAMMED with information for the beginner OpenGL programmer. Only comment: bit out of date now, especially as it uses <glaux.h> for all of it's sample programs - a file which is no longer included in the OpenGL specification. Still as it includes a copy of <glaux.h> on the CD you can just copy this into your compiler's include/gl directory and the sample programs will work fine. This could be the most profitable purchase I ever make as a 14-year old wannabe PC games programmer...
