1.0 out of 5 stars Dont buy these. Total rip-off, 12 July 2012

This review is from: 1.53m Trampoline Enclosure Pole Sleeves - Set of 8. THESE DO NOT INCLUDE THE FOAM THAT GOES OVER THE POLES. (Misc.)
This product may well work and do the job BUT it is a classic example of extortionate pricing because it's supposedly a specialised item. Take one of your poles out, take yourself to B & Q or similar. Buy pipe lagging.
It is thicker. For 8 poles you will need about 14 lengths at 60-70p each (measure your poles to be sure as I can't be sure all DIY shops do the same as B&Q). Total Cost just under £10.
You do have to chop an extra bit for the top but it wont make any difference to performance.

Hi good write up, but when you talk about pipe lagging are you talking the foam lagging not the cover? I've never seen a cover on top of the foam lagging you buy in DIY stores?

I'm talking about the grey foam lagging you get for pipes. Our old net tore so we removed it. You can by a new net without having to buy all the metal posts again. But in our case the padding around the posts was old and falling apart. You could get this product to replace it or pipe lagging which is a fraction of the price. Hope that's clearer!
