A good buy,

The book has all the basic recipes you need, though I was disappointed that the recipe for Russian sausages required a pre-made spice mix that is difficult to source outside of South Africa. I know this book is not written for an expat audience, however, as with most books for charcuterie, I would expect it to provide recipes 'from scratch' with minimal reliance on commercially blended spices/products. That being my only gripe, this book is an excellent reference book and well worth investing in if you like South African meat products.
