Verified Purchase(What is this?)
Purchased as part as amazon deals, put up the same day to light up the side of my house and I must say I'm really impressed with the brightness of the light, I'm sure the neighbours will think its mains powered!
The light is roughly 3-4m off the ground and gives a loverly crisp and clear white circle of light about 4m in diameter really impressive!
The PIR seems pretty sensative which is good
I'm currently using D size battery coveterets so I can use normal AA batteries inside the light so the brightness may not be at its full potential! And of course the battery life won't last as long this way
Build quality seems very good and installation was simple requiring three holes to be drilled
Overall for £22 I am pleased with the product so far and would buy again

But the page says it takes D-cells? I thought Ds were longer than Cs -- so a shell that turns your AAs into Cs wouldn't fit? I ask because I have Duracell staycharged cells and I would like to do the same, but I don't see how a C-shell helps.

Very sorry my mistake, you are correct, it takes size D batteries, review edited to reflect this. Thanks :)
