The only good thing about this film is the scenery. Otherwise a plot so full of holes you could walk through it. The "wolves" are the most unconvincing computer-generated animals I have ever seen and sound like lions. The characters are predictable. The swearing gets boring and I wish I hadn't wasted a couple of hours of my life on it. Once again I fell for the blurb - will I never learn?

Chev Chelios says:
I couldn't disagree more. I think this is an existential allegory about loss and dealing with death. This isnt a documentary or an action film, its a profound and beautifully shot commentary on mans inability and difficulty in dealing with his own mortality, and coming to terms with the loss of loved ones. The scenery is purposefully as harsh and empty as the lives of the central characters, and the wolves are a metaphor for the alienation and hostility the characters feel-for themselves, each other and their place in the world. I think that's why CGI was used for the wolves, it adds to the abstraction and metaphorical nature of the story and the main character arc. Its gets better by repeated watching. I think it's a great piece of work.
