I bought this based on the positive reviews, and am very pleased with the product. It is well made, feels solid and yet has no effect on the visuals or use of the gamepad screen.
I was going to be impressed with the attachment method, but unfortunately it didn't work out well for me. Many reviews mentioned that there is a lot of spare space around the edges, and this caused me my problem because mine fits almost perfectly. So I used the attachment methods and then discovered that it was ever so slightly over the right edge, and so wouldn't stick down entirely on that edge. This is where the quality of the protector came into play. I was able to peel the whole thing off and stick it on again, starting at the very edge as I would have done with any other screen protector. It worked fine, but there were a few bubbles left this time. Fortunately, it also comes with a little piece of cardboard designed to squeeze bubbles out from below the filter. It worked a treat, and everything is as perfect as could be.
I was at Game yesterday, and noticed they have Wii U gamepad screen protectors for just £1. I can't say how good they are, but I was a bit disappointed to have spent £4.50 for this one on Amazon. However, it is essentially perfect, and it is probably worth an additional £3.50 to protect your gamepad without interfering with gameplay.
