Although I am not a vegetarian, I thought this book would be useful to me as my son's partner is vegetarian. It is presented in a very easy to follow format, with large colour photographs of the finished dish. The book is divided into sections such as small bites, soups, fast, one-pot and bakes, and special. Although this is a vegetarian cookbook, I think non-vegetarians would also find many of the dishes quite appealing and lots of them would also make tasty side dishes as accompaniments to meat dishes. The recipes have a good, modern appeal and most of them do not involve spending hours slaving in the kitchen.
