Right from beginning reading I knew I wouldn't enjoy this.,
Verified Purchase(What is this?)
This review is from: Wolf's Head (The Forest Lord Book 1) (Kindle Edition)
Writting was pretty predictable and simplistic. Only got half a chapter in and gave up and moved onto a more enjoyable read.

It didn't grab you and you decided to let it go by the wayside~fair enough. If you'd read the entire book and said it was "predictable and simplistic," I'd shrug and say the same thing--to each his own, after all. But a review by definition entails having read the material in its entirety. Giving a 300+ page book a pass after reading roughly seven pages is not a review; it's just "I couldn't get into it" or "It's not my style." Giving someone's book two of five stars without having reviewed it is just plain wrong and deleting this entry would be the right thing to do.

Why buy it if you knew you wouldn't like it?
From one chapter how could you possibly tell that it was predictable, right from the off its based in a different location and time period. Not really what you'd expect for robin hood.

Steven posted a few chapters on the web, several times, if you bought the book before trying or downloading a sample from amazon, you7 really do not have the right to complain, I suggest you stick to comics.
