From the few opening bars of 'Tears come tumbling' by the Teardrops you won't be disappointed by this the 7th in the excellent series by 'Ace Records' (Ace by name ace by nature). I agree with the other reviewer (the only real review that is) there are lots of real rarities here and the quality has not diminished at all, includes 8 previously unissued tracks. There are very good tracks from The Jelly Beans, Joani Camp and Brenda Holloway (one of Motown's greatest singers and sadly under used). There are excellent tracks from Beverly Williams, The Tandells, Ann Hodge and so many more, then there's the Shirelles 'What is love?' which is simply OUTSTANDING. The compilation (63.35mins long) comes with a fantastic 20 page glossy colour booklet packed with track by track info. The sound quality is also fantastic throughout. Overall, what a top notch compilation, with lots of excellent rare tracks on it. One of my favourites of the series (Volume 5 is also as good as this one). Highly recommended. 10/10. Looking forward to Volume 8.
