This is YA a book, and although most of its faults lie in character stereotypes and predictable narrative, this is what I actually enjoyed about this book!
The Mother/ Daughter writing team must be difficult to master but worked well and it painted both a beautfiul picture and a cringe worthy insight to a 16 year old girls mind.
I loved escaping into Zoey Redbird's world and I finished this book in record time, reading at every opportunity to finish this little gem off.
My biggest critcism is the formatting of the Kindle book, which is shocking. Line breaks happen at random and chapters start and finish on the same page which give the feel of an book which has not had much care taken in finishing it off, and would not be acceptable going to print, so why on Kindle?
Overall I can't wait to get hold of the next book, but with the £5 price tag on each book in such a large series it does put be off getting hooked, but I am worried I already am!
