I love this thing. I used to take a laptop to work and yearned after a tablet for sitting on the sofa etc. I figured I'd get this as the best of both worlds and I've been blown away. The screen colour is stunning, the pen is just about the most unexpected joy about it. It runs as well as my i5 Lenovo V570 did and handles games better. I thought Windows 8.1 was good on my laptop but it really comes into it's own on this. A million times more powerful than any Apple or Android tablet and far more verisitile than my laptop. I come into work plug in a USB hub, my 22 inch monitor and the power and boom, I have a full pc running from my tablet (i use the tablet screen for metro apps & taking notes). I take it to meetings with clients and spend half of the meeting talking about the Surface, Microsoft missed a trick not shouting from the rooftops what this product actually is, most people I see didn't realise this was a full PC. Worth the price? Well the way I see it you'd spend £400 on an equivanlent laptop and £300 on a tablet, for me spending £100 extra for the benifits of both was a no-brainer. There are a couple of niggles with the pen in the corner and you have to get used to possibly playing with scaling when switching between 22 inch monitor and 10 inch screen.
