Customer Review

on August 8, 2014
You know what you'll get with Vader and you get it here, in fine style as always. The one thing that sticks out for me is the quality of the lead guitar playing (also a high point of the previous album). Peter still has his crazy harmonic squeals and whammy-bar abuse of course, which is as much a part of Vader's sound as his voice, but Spider plays some really melodic yet brutal solos and it really brings things to life. The drumming deserves a mention too from James Stewart who really impressed me and made me forget the loss of Daray a few years back.
For me, the high point was "The Beast" but this album comfortably sits up there with "Revelations" or "Impressions in Blood" and if you ever liked anything of Vader's, you'll love this too.
