Customer Review

on 8 June 2010
For the first 200 pages, I loved this book. It's well written and the characters are interesting and original. so, why only one star? Because, the more I read, the more the book fundamentally disagreed with everything I believe in. Ayn Rand, the author of a different book called "The Virtue of Selfishness", has created an ode to selfishness, capitalism and indifference to others if they are below your 'moral code'. I've never been so angry reading a book. Actually, I don't think i've been angry reading a book, usually it's a total pleasure. Probably worth a read, but I wish I'd never touched this book. I feel as if i'm a slightly dirtier and more corrupted person for having read it!
