Customer Review

on 24 May 2011
Having seen the film on a 3D cinema I was aware that the 3D experience wasn't going to be the same at home. Seen on a 46" Samsung 3D LED with Onkyo+Harman Kadron 5.1 system, the view experience was great, but there's one annoying thing happening thorough the film. We all know that 16:9 is not the cinema aspect ratio, and viewing a 21:9 3D film on a 16:9 you won't get the best 3D experience at all. Disney guys are aware of this, and once the film becomes 3D (it starts in 2D) they upscale the aspect ratio up to 16:9... but as in some parts of the film not using a 21:9 cuts some of the scenes, they switch between 21:9 and 16:9 thorough the film... and that's annoying.

Summarizing, good film (I loved it), good video and audio quality (sound track is amazing) but the switching between 21:9 and 16:9 doesn't give you the best experience :(
