This is useful for hard floors that aren't too dirty. It is not really robust enough if you are trying to mop up mud or dried-on dirt. It is light. The handle does have a tendency to unscrew itself in use so it needs occasional tightening. The handle is attached to the mop by a plastic hinge so it may not cope with years of use. I had a Method mop before and this was the area that broke, so a stronger metal hinge would be a better design for a mop. The mop pads do stain after a while even though I wash them immediately (buy a spare or two as I suggest one mop pad per room before washing it). I use this sometimes for a nice shiny finish: Method Best in Glass Window and Glass Cleaner 828 ml, but check which products suit your flooring.
