Les Misérables: From Stage to ScreenA word of warning to any Les Miserable's fans, like myself, considering buying this DVD - DON'T! PLEASE DON'T. Its a total waste of time and money. For starters there is not one note of music from the show or the movie - not even a clip from the movie. The so called expert on the show and Victor Hugo is totally boring and seems very unsure of his facts - some of which I don't think he even gets right. The various interviews have been lifted from all sorts of sources, including previously released dvd's of Les Mis and the whole thing feels like a quickly put together, cheap rip off.

Instead - wait for the dvd of the movie and the extras that will be on that, buy the Double Disk sets of the 10th and 25th Anniversary concerts and treat yourself to the wonderful book - "Les Miserable's from Stage to Screen" by Benedict Nightingale and Martyn Palmer. Just avoid this and save your money. I wish I had saved mine! (Shame there's not an option here to give it no stars!)
