Customer Review

on 15 January 2013
Nervous after reading negative feedback comments, I ordered a Draper footpump. I needed a portable air compressor to reflate a flat rear tyre on ride on grass cutter. Wheel rusted to axle. The footpump worked fine. After 4 minutes of full stroke pumping, the guage showed positive reading of 1.5 bar, more than was needed. No, the gauge is not of National Science Laboratory standard, but it worked & it is easy to recognise a well inflated tyre from a flat, it supports the vehicle, looks & feels right. The curvature of the outer tread will give good rolling action. Pumped up the other tyre to recover the horizontal axis. Problem solved. Glad I did not go for a small noisy electric unit driven from a car battery. Pump moving parts lightly oiled, replaced in box & shelved for the future. Good workshop practice. ( 13 other inflated tryres in my life.)
