looking at the reviews of this film, i expected and hoped for a straightforward romantic comedy... i was severely disappointed! the dialogue always seemed stilted and the time jumps in the film were very unclear and sketchy, making it difficult to follow. also, if they had actually shown the main characters falling in love, then I'm sure the audience would have been able to make some scrap of a connection with the characters. But, they didn't, which meant it got to the point where i didn't care whether they were going to get together or not. The film portrayed the 2 main characters as much happier when they were with other people, probably because they wanted to show how much they loved each other and wouldn't be kept apart. However, the awkwardness between the two and their seemingly constant arguments, made this outcome unlikely and unwanted. Finally this film was hailed in some reviews as 'everything one day should have been', frankly I think this is an insult to a much funnier and more enjoyable film!
