Have just finished this. Was looking forward to it after reading the 'Mistress' one but found it quite a let-down.
Found this book very hard going for maybe the first 1/4 - so many characters introduced so quickly - but persevered.
I think Tamar Cohen is a very good writer and good at crafting characters and plots but I just didn't warm to this book or the people in it.
Maybe just because it was missing the 'twistedness' - the kind that leaves you open-mouthed and dying to see what happens next - of 'Mistress', it just wasn't really my thing.
Ponderous, long drawn out emotional excavations - nah, I prefer something a bit more snappy.
Was really hoping that Pip's babydaddy turned out to be Bart but heyho!
Anyway, I have The War of the Wives waiting and I'll give it a try...
