I thoroughly enjoyed reading this book. It was definitely what you would call a page turner. Each chapter was executed perfectly with right amount of drama and adventure. I found it to be a great spin on the 'fantasy' genre bringing a new dimension to the existing format. The Author clearly knows his onions when it comes to historical referance with regards to class and nobility and it integrates well into this fictional tail seamlessly creating a world that is highly believable. I enjoyed the fact there was not an exhausting amount of detail with regards to scene and character as I find this to be quite boring and often very tiedious as I what I have created in my own mind does not always match up with what the author is describing. I gave this book 5 stars because of the ease with which I read it and also the speed. I am currently reading books by a couple of well known Authors and they do not hold my attention or intrigue half as much as this one.
