Customer Review

on 31 January 2001
If you're expecting another album of English-Patient-Like lyrical singing, this album probably isn't worth buying. Two of the 15 tracks are taken directly from the film soundtrack, and the other 13 are really nothing like the same style. The other tracks are dominated by music and instruments, whereas the EP soundtrack was largely vocal (I thought). This type of music just isn't my preference, so I can only give it 2 stars. But if Hungarian music (which I think this is) is your cup of tea, then this album is probably right up there with the best of them. I hate to say it, but if you've never heard any Hungarian music, what you think it might be like is probably completely correct.
