Im very fussy about audio quality of any sound product and have to say as other reviews do here that the X-fi Titanium HD blows away any on-board sound and really is up there with the high quality sound cards.
Its a worthy upgrade if your into your music, mp3s, videos as this card really brings out the best in all these media. Easy to install in a Windows 7 system and can be tweaked to your listening tastes with plenty of scope on the EQs, volumes, Bass & Treble controls, speaker setups and many other values in the included software.
Sounding very warm and rich to the ear with a clear and precise clarity. You do find yourself listening to all your songs again and hearing a lot more depth in the music that you wouldn't have noticed before. I must stress that you do need a decent pair of speakers of headphones to really enjoy the full benefits of the card. (Dont expect it to make your £15 desktop speakers sound like a home cinema!) Most people looking to buy this card will have a good speaker/headphones setup anyway.
