This review is from: The Secret Diary of Laura Palmer (Mass Market Paperback)
Fantastic book that is a must for any twin peaks fan. The fact that it is written by David Lynch's daughter gives it authenticity and the text does not let you down. If you're buying it for the forewords though, don't bother, as they're very short and give very little away. But, if you want to find out more about Laura, the Black Lodge and the infamous BOB, then buy this book. The book provides a chilling "first-hand" account of Laura's escapades from her 12th birthday to her untimely demise at just 17, taking you right up to the start of the Twin Peaks TV Series. If you've not seen the Twin Peaks film, a prequel to the TV series called "Fire Walk With Me", then watch it before reading the diary as the Film was made before the Diary was published, as such the Diary may contain spoliers for the film (I've not seen the film yet, but am making an assumption based on the film being a prequel and the diary being set before the Twin Peaks TV series). Twin Peaks is not just a TV series, it's a state of mind.
