Customer Review

on 19 November 2011
In The Detachment Barry Eisler's fantastic character John Rain returns for another deadly mission, reluctantly drawn out of retirement Rain partners up with the colourful, larger than life Dox.

I don't want to give the story away so I'll not talk too much about that, but having read all the John Rain series I can honestly say they never fail to entertain. The story lines are always imaginative, and keep you guessing right to the end - The Detachment was no exception to this rule.

I love how vividly the characters are portrayed in the storyline of Barry's books, both are creatively intertwined fulfilling a magical reader experience, much as Len Deighton used to do with his books.

So if you are wondering whether to get this or not, don't, just get it and then check Barry's website ([...]).

Can't wait of the next instalment.
