I have been doing this dvd from 4-6 times per week for nearly three years now. I have a petite figure which is prone to bulking with excercise esp around thighs/calf muscles. I used to run run for hours about six times per week and be nearly crying with frustration at th fact I was putting on weight and ending up with huge legs despite all my efforts that was until I got my hands on this dvd. It really does work like a miricle but you have to do it 4-6 times per week. Once you get through the first two weeks the results I found were nothing short of a miricle. I had family asking what I was doing , people asking if i'd lost weight and commenting on how toned and tiny my legs were. Even my calf muscles which I thought were genetically big amazingly pulled in and began to look long and lean and toned. Even my ankles look different, more defined and tiny. My arms are so tight and small I look like a professional ballet dancer!. Clothes I never used to be able to wear I now can my whole figure has changed to something I never thought it could be. I even have those little ridges on my tummy at the bottom!. The only excercise i do literally is this dvd and now i have it in my daily routine like brushing my teeth or washing my hair because it changes really changes your life! . I can believe all the years I wasted time doing running and callenetics and never feeling happy with my figure when i could have just been doing this!. I have also noticed I can eat quit a lot and not put weight on. Ever since I have been doing this dvd my weight dropped initially then over two and a half years has been totally stable which is amazing cosidering my weight used to yo yo all the time even when running 6 times a week!. I really believe this dvd can changed anyones life, make you confident about your figure and make you have the figure you never thought you could. Not wasting time and money in gyms or on pointless excercise routines. You have to do it 4-6 times a week but when the results appear you wont even think about having to do it anymore you'll just do it because the results say it all and drive you on to keep it in your daily routine.You literally end up with a celeb type body!. Trust as I wasted so many years hating my body shape and excercising like a banshee with unsatisfactory results. This actually does pull your body in and sculpts it in a way you can see and really feel and trust me you wont be the only one noticing it! UPDATE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

UPDATE: I have recently been suffering from slowly worsening joints, clicking, catching, clunking plus a hip injury which occured whilst doing this dvd which i had to go to a and e . I have had all sorts of tests blood, xrays etc and no conclusion was met until i recently saw a physio therapist who mentioned my joints had become hyper mobile which was causing the snapping sounds and discomfort. It was also making my bones/joints unstable. I did not want to admit it but i now have to admit to myself it seems it has been caused by this dvd!. Even my fingers were aching and crunching!. I felt about 100 years old for someone young and fit and healthy this was a real shock!. I have been in tears for the past few months as at first I thought something was happening to me. I have taken three full days off doing the mat workout and suprise suprise my symptoms are fading already, even my hip which has been hell since last oct has for the first time stopped aching and I managed to go on a long walk this morning with no stabbing pain which has not happened for months. I was also shocked after reading another review on this website which almost repeated exactly what has happend to me this was the final link which just proved it was most likely to be caused by the mat workout. This dvd seems to have the potential to be extremely dangerous to the joints and ligaments when done over a long period time. I did this dvd religously and the results were excellent but i seem to have paid the price now. I did not have any issues for the first year or so then slowly but surely i started to notice different issues which progressively got worse and also caused quite a bad injury to my hip during the second leg section of the dvd. A word of warning BE CAREFUL and be aware of the first signs of joint issues such as clicking, clunking or aching joints and stop immediately, i carried on and i'm regretting ignoring the signs now. I am just praying my hips, knees and shoulder will continue improving to how they were before. I am young, fit and healthy with a low body weight and this still happened to me so be very, very careful.

Reading your review made me think of my own as yet undiagnosed hip issue - the same stabbing pain when walking as you - which flared up immediately after doing a ballet workout DVD. I know we undertake these things at our own risk, and that these 'trainers' are disclaimed to hell and back, but all exercise routines, even these sanitised Hollywood packages, carry definite risk. I hope you feel better soon, Peaches
