This review is from: Q & A a Day for Kids: A Three-Year Journal (Diary)
Each night before the children go to bed, we ask them a question from this book and record their answers. Questions range from "when were you last brave?" to "what does your Mummy do?" As the kids are respectively, 2 1/2 and nearly 5, the answers vary wildly, but oftentimes hilarious to touching to downright bizarre. It's been an enjoyable nightly activity to just get to hear the kids' thoughts and get better insight into their thinking process. We have learned that our son and his toy puppy have an alternate family, as well as found out that our daughter thinks Daddy helps people "not order cows when they want coffee." (Daddy is an English teacher)
I definitely recommend this book as a keepsake journal of your children's ideas and thoughts recorded over a 3 year period. It seems best with an older child though as some of the questions just aren't relevant to under fives.
