Not a bad effort,
This review is from: Ultimate Navigation Manual (Paperback)
Read this book with interest. There is a lot there for anyone who wants to learn the basics and more of navigation, but as a qualified Master Mariner and Land and Hydrographic surveyor, I think there are still one or two points to pick up on, the main of which is to use a bit of common dog, and to keep your eyes open!

Grudging praise indeed. Perhaps if Schettino on the Costa Concordia had read it, there may be 32 souls alive today who now are not. As far as keeping your eyes open, this would have been good advice to Edwards and his poodles on the Titanic.
