This is my first Android phone (having given up on Blackberry), it is a revelation to have such a large screen especially when using the GPS.
I really like the motoblur features and the swipe typing now makes me feel frustrated when I have to go back to Blackberry typing for work!
The music player is excellent on headphones and good enough without for short stays in hotels etc.
I am not a big gamer so cannot help their, it coped well enough with Angry birds till I get board of Angry Birds!
Obviously its biggest USP is its water and damage proof features. I am no action man but I like to walk - which can get muddy and wet and I am a bit of a ooops dropped it type, so for me the toughness of this phone was the biggest attraction and it is great, it is also happy to go in pockets with keys zips etc and the screen is showing no signs of wear at all after one month.
The i phone might make people feel part of the smart club, but it doesn't look so smart when I see so many with cracked and shattered screens.
This phone is miles ahead of my old Blackberry 9700, with the only downside being the difficulty in seeing and using the phone in bright light.
Really delighted with it and being sim only feels quite liberating.
