Ricky Gervais performs standup at the London's Bloomsbury Theatre in London -- why there? -- "because it's in walking distance" from his home. The only guy who loves his own voice so much that he has a Special Features TALKOVER in which he comments on his performance, and basically overlaps the laughs with more laughs. The only problem I can see is that comedy comes too easy for Ricky. And the audience loves him. He's one of those people who looks very comfortable on stage. Like Billy Conelly, when Ricky is on stage, I could almost imagine him having a cat-nap - and the audience still falling over in stitches, or rising for a standing ovation.
