Customer Review

on 24 November 2013
Was intrigued by the cover, and backprint of this book, but worried that it might be another "Da Vinci Code". It is not.Historically,it is pure fiction.Even the few facts offered are completely incorrect. I struggled,as a consequence,to take the book seriously. I found the characters superficial, and the plot too far fetched to be endurable. Sad,because I wanted, and tried, to like it so much, but it just didn't gel with me. And the glaring historical nonsense made for more of a comedy, than gripping thriller.
If you want a book that you can read, while giving your brain a month's sabbatical, then by all means try it.If you have any existing knowledge or love of the History involved, then avoid like the plague.
