Devon Burkes (Megan Park) is a spoiled high-school student who always gets what she wants. This time, she wants her handsome math teacher, Jim Wilkes (David Charvet), and when Devon sets her sights on the recent divorcé, she makes every effort to insinuate herself into all aspects of his life, including coming between him and his current girlfriend Rachel (Boti Bliss). As Devon's obsession with Jim grows, it becomes clear she won't take no for an answer, and will stop at nothing to secure his affections. Unfortunately for Jim, it might be too late before he realises that Devon is hardly the perfect student he thought she was.
This TV-movie is a highly derivative re-telling of a timeless tale. Showing-off legs up to there, blonde high school student Devon Burkes wants to seduce her new teacher. He's handsome David Charvet, a former TV "Baywatch" lifeguard who has definitely kept himself in shape.
An interesting plot that tries to deal with a serious issue only to be let-down by acting which is below average. I suppose it may be viewed as a decent made for TV movie if you like 90210 and One Tree Hill. Although I think it may have been better with a different cast.
