Customer Review

on 19 April 2013
A rambling, unfocused study into the impact of railways on the Holocaust. For this to be a credible work, far more information on the logistics/organisation of the transport of Jews to the death camps would be required. For example, the organisation which directed rail traffic to the death camps from the General Government in Poland, GEDOB (Generaldirektion der Ostbahn) only receives a cursory mention in the text which is a serious ommision. All together an unsatisfying work which lacks clarity of purpose.
