2.0 out of 5 stars Don't buy dazzle if you want more than 480p for Youtube videos, 28 Jan. 2013
Verified Purchase(What is this?)
This review is from: Dazzle Video Creator Platinum HD (PC) (DVD-ROM)
I bought Dazzle because I had some plans about filming footage from PS3. After sometime the product arrived and once I today 28th of January got the splitters, I tested it. The editing program is very good and instantly worked.

The product itself.. disappointing. The quality was much lower than I expected, I didn't expect HD of course but still its just not enough. The quality is basically 480p in Youtube but still when I look at the videos with computer, even with converting if i put full screen the quality is too low. I don't suggest you buying this unless you just want to use it to record footage from video camera or stuff like that.

I suggest just instantly buy this: http://www.amazon.co.uk/Hauppauge-Gaming-Edition-Capture-Device/dp/B0092P47GW/ref=cm_cr_pr_product_top

You don't need to buy anything separate and I really consider buying it. My warning: Dazzle doesn't give good quality you expect. don't buy it. If I would have known how bad the quality can be from all positive feedback comments said, I never would have bought this :(

This is my personal thinking about it.

Buy HD, you get a lot of better stuff.

You do realise this is only meant to record in standard definition right?
You do realise 480p is the highest quality of standard definition right?
You do understand that anything running through a scart cable and not a HDMI is in 480p right?
