Having been suitably impressed by the Philips 22PFL3404D and after reading several online reviews I decided to order this TV. I purchased mine from the Philips shop rather than from Amazon, as they were offering a discount through the company I work for at the time. Wished I had brought it from Amazon though as I could have returned it for replacement - see sound problems below.
The Good bits:
Sleek Classy Design Sound better than most LED TVs but see below Picture on both SD & HD is excellent but see below
The not so good:
The sound drops out from the internal speakers for 5 - 8 seconds after the TV has been left on stand by for several days. Temporarily fixed by a power recycle. Had the main board replaced but problem still persists. In talks with Philips to get this resolved once and for all. Would be interested to here if any other owners have this issue.
Update: 20/3/2011: New firmware update 000.140.032.000 now available for download onto USB stick from Philips web site, seems to have fixed this issue, however some owners still reporting issues when connecting other devices via HDMI. Also Philips have not yet replied to my letter I sent to them 4 weeks ago.
Update: 26/3/2011: Nope they haven't fixed this issue sound started dropping out again today. Shan't ever buy another Philips product again. Can't connect to Net TV now either, several people on Philips forum complaining about how slow this service is.
Although the picture is excellent you have to manually tweak all the settings to get it just right. As another reviewer mentions none of the standard modes is close to being correct. To get the best picture turn off HD Natural motion, and most of the other fancy settings, turn on 100Hz clear LCD to help with motion and choose Personal for the picture and set Custom tint, reduce the red slighty and reduce the green a bit more.
