Sony should be ashamed,
Verified Purchase(What is this?)
This review is from: Sony XBA3iP Premium Quality In-Ear Headphones (discontinued by manufacturer) (Electronics)
Bought a pair of XBA-3IP in September 2013 based on the good sound reviews and recommendation by What Hi-Fi? .
Sound quality was really good and I was impressed. It had its quirks to find the best fit in my ears, but managed it.
Everything was good, but after 4 months the right part just got silent in the middle of a song. I thought it was the player, so I rebooted it. Started working again, but with the sound level dropped significantly. Like when you turn the volume down by half... Tried other earphones with the player and they were all fine. So I did some research and found out that loads of other people had same or similar problems with sound level and cutting out.
It is a shame for Sony, especially because this is supposed to be a premium quality product, hence the price tag.
Overall, a very big disappointment. Returned it for a refund.
