Sometimes a bit repetitive,

Customer review from the Amazon Vine Programme (What's this?)
I did enjoy this book but a couple of things that annoyed me about it are (i) the repetition of how Katherine wants to stop Valentine (we've read it more than once already!) and (ii) how the 2 main characters can fall in love in a matter of 2 days (that may just be me being a cynic though!)
The story is a tad depressing - there is so much abuse throughout, from the childhoods of Katherine, Valentine and Dane.
Although it wasn't the most engaging story I have read I did get through it quite quickly. I don't think the story will surprise anyone you can pretty much tell what is going to happen although the author does throw a few curve balls in there.
Worth a read if you've nothing else going
