Customer Review

on 7 March 2002
There is a God ...And he will know them by the Trail of Dead. The Texans finally deliver a masterpiece to rival their live show and boy was it worth waiting for. From the very start, the record inspires and invigorates, rather than leaving you feeling empty and cheated, as recent trends in Rock n' Roll have done to me. 'Another Morning Stoner' is the younger son of 'Mistakes and Regrets', but the younger son who goes on to outshine Dad. 'Bauderlaire' is an obvious single in waiting and could see Trail of Dead gatecrash the top 40. 'Monsoon' is epic, both lyrically and musically, as it crashes out of your speakers. If that isn't enough, 'Bloodrites' finishes you off and all you can do is submit. This band are more important than ever. Join the Trail now or look back and wonder how you got left behind.
