Not a good product,
This review is from: John Adams Classic Tiny Tears (Toy)
There are so many design flaws in this product that I feel I've been mis-led and mis-sold. I hadn't really expected it to convincingly cry and wee but you do expect some basics! Firstly, the bottle doesn't even fit into the mouth and the bottle leaks from the top so the doll gets soaked. My 3 year old very diligently filled up the bottle and put it on the coffee table only to find that the base is CURVED so the bottle fell over and soaked the carpet. The potty has four, yes four holes in it!! There is no apparent reason for this other than lazy packaging design, as the holes are used to secure the potty to the box. Any water you do get into the doll comes out of the joints in the legs, I've never seen it come out the eyes. And then there's the hair, full points for making it longer but it looks like it's been cut with the garden shears, it's all different lengths, I trimmed it in the end, it looked so awful. The clothes and hairband are nicely made though.
It seems with just a few tweaks to the design of the accessories you would have a much better doll - redesign the bottle, fill the holes in the potty, get a decent hairdresser for the doll, replace the pants with a velcro nappy and seal the joints so they don't fill up with water in the bath.
Please listen John Adams!
