Customer Review

on 11 July 2012
Overall I enjoyed the concept of this book and the general storyline. But, I did feel that the writing needed to be a little 'tighter'. At times I got a little bored of the ramblings of the 'angels' and all the 'be me and be free' stuff that was going on.

The start is a little confusing, but I suppose that is meant to be, as the main character, Swift has just been 'resurrected', but his back story does start to piece together as they story moves on.

It is very different from the Rivers of London (PC Grant) series, and it is unfair to draw comparisons between the two.

I would say if you enjoy urban fantasy style books with a reasonable amount of action, then give it ago, but I for one, probably wont be reading the next book in the series.
