This review is from: Holding the Man (Penguin Viking Plays & Screen) (Paperback)
this book was my companion throughout my travels to Prague & Budapest this past summer. It chronicles the gay lifestyle in Australia seen through the eyes of two gay men who dip in and out of each other's lives. Totally absorbing and incredibly magnetic, this book is able to relate to any gay man and the writer is able to relate all of the characters' experiences in a real-life, humane scale.
It's one of those books you want to slow down reading towards the end because you're so much a part of the flow of the fiction.
oh yes, pack some Kleennex with you.
