Very little life ...,
Verified Purchase(What is this?)
These batteries are supposed to retain a charge for about two hours, but I have never been able to get that much out of them. This is okay if you don't want to wander too far from an electrical socket. Otherwise it's pretty disappointing.

I also bought one of these batteries,,,a 5732Z,,,, only had it a few months, and mainly use it with mains,,,,but the batterie seems to have given up,,,,would not recommend. I meant that I normally use my lap-top on the mains,,,,but the new batterie does not seem very good.

If you leave a laptop plugged in all the time you will kill the battery. Its simple science.... You must discharge and recharge batteries OR THEY DIE.
Some of these reviews make me cringe.

Reply to 'Charles'...I bought an Acer Aspire 5532 in March 2010. I keep it plugged in all the time. It has taken 6 years for the battery to become defective. Perhaps you think they can last longer than this by discharging and recharging??!!
