SatNav's best kept secret,
This review is from: Navigon 92 Premium Live 5" Sat Nav with Full Europe Maps (44 Countries) and Live Traffic (Electronics)
Being from the UK the SatNav market is swamped and dominated by the "Big" two TomTom and Garmin. But for my money Navigon wins hands down. It's a shame that none of the usual retailers do not even stock navigon devices. A German company Navigon have been around for some years now and the quality and design are next to none. This 92 Premium live is packed with many Innovative features. With excellent quality text-to-speech, Bluetooth hands free allowing you to connect 2 mobile phones for hands free calling. Voice commands allows you to talk to your satnav and give it commands. The maps are clear and really nice to look at. The Lane assist is excellent and negotiating roundabouts and junctions is a breeze.
If you you are considering a new SatNav and are disillusioned with Tomtoms web based "MyTomtom" service or Garmin's childlike blocky maps and poor routing. Then give Navigon a try I'm pretty confident you will be impressed.
If you find the Navigon 92 to pricey then try the 42 or 72 models

That is where you are wrong. I fix Apple mac computers for a living and I'm a welsh man living in London. Maybe im not the best at writing reviews or comments but what i wrote is what i think. Do you have a navigon device, If so why not write a review on it. If you don't then why bother posting your comment on what i wrote

nope. My aplogies for the slur then. Nice to know that its real. Im looking at this as an alternative to the tomtom 1005 and just cant find anything on it. can you tell me have you found its routing and traffic to be very accurate? This is where the tomtom seems to score well and garmin fails, but navigon in the UK simply hs no info on this from third party sources.

Yes hard to find much in the way of reviews on their devices. I gave up on tomtom when the introduced the "Mytomtom" service" it was i complete farce. I also had one garmin and found it to be bloody awful routing was very poor. The Live service on the navigon is very good i have found it uses T-mobiles network as opposed to tomtom who use Vodaphones. Routing is also very good and you get 3 routes to choose from

No problems. Yes the Live services are for 1 year. I hope you won't be disappointed. I think it is a great SatNav. I originally chose the Navigon after using it on my iPhone for about a year. I had all the other satnavs on my phone to but i liked the Navigon app so much i had to get me a standalone model and have not been disappointed. If you need any pointer fell free to message me
