With most modern games, Call of Duty, Battlefield series being so short it's great that Ubisoft continue to release Assassins Creed games that last and last on single player. The afore mentioned FPS games can be complete in 4-5 hours on single player which is basically daylight robbery at £40 but just like AC3, Assassins Creed 4 Black Flag is a very profound campaign mode. I've been playing for over 40 hours and i've still only completed 52% of the game. Ubisoft adds so many side missions, quests and treasure hunts that the main story quests can sometimes be put on the back burner. Due to Ubisoft's positive feedback from gamers regarding the sea missions and battles it makes up a large part of the game in Black Flag as you take control; of a ship and fly the black Skull flag acting as a pirate/Assassin as you travel around the caribbean islands. These missions ranging from finding treasure chests, being a hired assassin for gold reales and attacking ships and plundering their materials to either sell or upgrade your own ship, The Jackdaw. Game designers rarely pull off 2 fantastic consecutive games but Ubisoft has pulled it off with AC3 and now 4. My review is limited due to half the campaign being completed but i can highly recommend it to gamers who want a change from running around with a machine gun and want a game where you need to use the old grey matter to succeed!
