Customer Review

on 31 December 2013
Another microwave failure. I used it rarely & just before its 3rd birthday, suddenly the microwave fails. Everything else about it works but I rather thought the microwave function was an essential. It was awful as either convection or combi: overhead exposed grill elements provided the heat &, of course, everything burnt before it cooked.

Notice, folks, that microwave manufacturers tend NOT to explain how their products provide convective heat, so I suspect most of them use the same method. Anyone who DOESN'T, & who uses normal electric oven methodology, really ought to shout it from the high heavens. Personally, I have this (perhaps foolish) conviction that a microwave combination oven ought to be good at microwaving, mic+convection & convection alone. And should last a lot longer than these do.

I can't help wondering if all the problems derive from those furnace like heating elements.
