I have had this one for years on tape, and finally bought the reissued CD version when it was released by Rock Candy Records.
This is a great and different sounding album by a band who could have done so much more. It has a G'N'R feel to it, but has a trashier, more "in your face" vibe about it. The album opener "Shot Gun Sally" is a belter, along with "Nine Lives" and "Whip it out". The rest of the tracks are pretty good, some more so than others but, thanks to the production, it does have a really "up for it" feel. They must have had a blast recording it!
On the down side, the singer has quite a distinctive voice which may not be everyone's cuppa and, in my opinion, the quality of the songs tend to tail off a little towards the end of the CD. However, if you love your 80/90's hair metal with a bit of sleaze, then this is worth a punt.
