Customer Review

on 14 January 2004
Searching for Bobby Fisher is a good book. It would be misleading to say you dont have to know anything about chess to enjoy it. You would need to have a slight interest in the game to understand and feel the emotion attached to the chess side of the book.
Waitzkin delivers when talking about his realtionship with his son and cleverly makes examples of sports persons and their parents.
I watched the film first (Innocent Moves) which was an amazing 2 hour experience which I feel made the book more enjoyable than if i hadn't have seen the film.
It is well woth getting a copy of and can teach you some important issues on life and how people can get carried away with success.
I say take a look!
